Public Service Pension Trust Fund
Public Service Pension Trust Fund is an Institution which was established in compliance with
Pension Act (CAP 55:02) to oversee the administration of the Public Service Contributory Pension Scheme. The Fund is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians to fill the following positions that exist at Secretariat Office on an annual contracts renewable.
POST: DRIVER
GRADE: PTF7
REPORTING TO : HR AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Driving members of staff and visitors as assigned
2. Ensuring that vehicles are kept clean
3. Maintaining log book for the vehicle assigned
4. Delivering official mail and packages
5. Carrying out minor repairs on the vehicle assigned to him;
6. Reporting breakdowns and accidents
7. Ensuring that the Fund’s vehicle and its accessories are in a good and safe working condition before and after making any trip
8. Checking and advising on vehicles certification to ensure timely renewal
9. Consolidating and submitting monthly vehicles status report to supervisor
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications and Experience
- Malawi School Certificate of Education
- Valid Trade Test Grade 3
- Valid driving license D1 class
- Valid Defensive Driving Certificate
- A minimum of two (2) years` work experience
- Knowledge, Skills and abilities
- Basic knowledge in motor vehicle mechanic
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to cope with pressure of work.
