DRIVER – BLANTYRE

JOB DESCRIPTION.

• Provides a chauffer service to senior management and other staff as required.
• Running various errands as required
• Ensuring vehicle servicing cycles are adhered to.
• Ensuring that vehicles are always in good running condition.
• Updating the logbook for all vehicles.
• Renewal of vehicle certificates.
• Assisting in sourcing of quotations for office purchases
• Delivering mail to different clients and managing a flawless mail control record.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time by Management.

REQUIRED SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES:

• Possession of the required driving skills.
• Knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to assess vehicles for mechanical fitness and skills in minor vehicle repairs
• A team player with customer service orientation.
• Ability to handle diversity relations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A holder of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
• A holder of a valid SADC driver’s license.
• Defensive Drivers License with not less than 2 years experience.
