Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB)
The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) is a parastatal organization established by an Act of Parliament to conduct such academic and other examinations at the conclusion of any approved course in Malawi as it may be considered desirable in the public interest and award certificates to successful candidates in such examinations.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant post: –
1. Driver (M11)
Location: MANEB Lilongwe Regional Office
Key Duties and Responsibilities
a. Driving members of staff on official errands
b. Practising safe driving habits
c. Following all national road safety regulation and standard.
d. Keeping exterior and interior of vehicles clean and presentable
e. Ensuring that any incident involving the vehicles is reported timely and in writing.
f. Maintaining vehicle equipment, replacing oil, filing gas tank etc
g. Loading and unloading vehicle
h. Distributing and collecting official mail and parcels
i. Completing documentation such as logs, mileage. Cargo and passenger reports
j. Ensuring that vehicles are regularly serviced and maintained
k. Routine checking and reporting of major vehicle faults to the Head Driver
l. Accounting for fuel and oil consumption of allocated vehicle.
Qualifications and experience
- Must have MSCE plus five years working experience
- Must have PG valid driving license
- Must have clean driving record.
Requisite knowledge, abilities and attributes
- Must have knowledge of relevant road traffic laws.
- Must be of high integrity and trustworthy
- Must have sound interpersonal and driving skills
- Must be a safety conscious person
- Must be focused, confident and observant.
