Greenbelt Authority (GBA) is a Government of Malawi statutory corporation established under the Greenbelt Act No.23 of July 2017 to champion large scale commercial irrigation farming in Malawi.
GBA now invites applications to fill the following vacancies:
Job Title: Driver
Grade: GBA 11
Reporting to: Head driver
Direct Supervisees: None
PURPOSE
To drive GBA vehicles whenever required.
MAIN DUTIES
•Driving GBA vehicles and ferrying staff on errands.
•Conducting daily and routine motor vehicle checks ensuring that the
vehicles are clean, secure and in gcod running condition at all times
•Checking road worthiness for vehicles and reporting service dates for vehicles
•Reporting faults and cases of damage of vehicles.
•Maintaining an up-to-date vehicle log book.
•Requisitioning vehicle cleaning materials.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
JCE plus a clean driving license, valid PSV Driving Licence and a Defensive Driving Certificate with at least 5 years relevant experience. Those with an MSCE will have an added advantage.
