Blantyre Water Board
Blantyre Water Board is a government-owned institution established and reconstituted under the Waterworks Act of 1995 to supply potable water to residents of the City of Blantyre City and other surrounding areas. Blantyre Water Board is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacant positions:
DRIVER
Applicants must have the following qualifications and attributes:
- Malawi School Certificate of Education
- Valid driving license
- Defensive Driving Certificate
- Minimum of two (2) years practical work experience in a busy organization.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
a) Driving Board’s vehicles as assigned from time to time
b) Ensuring that the vehicle is in good condition and road worthy
c) Cleaning vehicles
d) Refueling of vehicles
e) Maintaining logbooks for each trip
f) Ensuring that records on daily mileage, fuel consumption, oil changes and greasing are properly maintained
g) Ensuring that vehicle breakdowns and accidents are timely reported
h) Performing any other duties assigned from time to time.
