Position: Driver and Mechanic

Location: Liwonde Private Hospital

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Picking up and delivering staff, clients and goods to designated destinations.
• Conducting daily and routine checks
• Maintaining vehicle logbook
• Ensure that all vehicles are always clean and maintained.
• Ensure that insurance and certificate of fitness stickers are placed on all vehicles as required by the Road Traffic Directorate
• Ensure that all vehicles are regularly refuelled.
• Maintaining a vehicle maintenance log to ensure vehicles are in good operating condition for use by the Office.
• Plan for and coordinate vehicle parts repairs and replacements as necessary.
• Ensure that all vehicles are properly fitted with required equipment as per the Road Traffic.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Should be a holder of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Should posses Certificate in Motor vehicle mechanic grade 3
• Clean Valid Driver’s Licence Class C1, with category G.L
• Those with Defensive Driving Certificate will have an added advantage
• At least 5 years’ work experience as a driver with a safe driving record
• Must be a sober person and with no criminal records
• At lest Five years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
• Good communicational and interpersonal skills
• Applicant must be 35 years of age and above.
