POSITION : Digital / Online Officer

Grade : D3

Organisational Unit : Corporate Affairs

Reporting To : Manager Marketing Communications

Duty Station : Head Office

Job Type : Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing and uploading content on social media platforms
  • Producing and publishing content on MRA website and Intranet
  • Planning and implementing social media campaigns
  • Reviewing and updating content on MRA website and intranet
  • Building relationships with other departments in MRA to ensure accuracy of information
  • Generating creative concepts for product design
  • Creating and editing multimedia products (images, audios, videos, animations, virtual reality etc.) in collaboration with marketing team
  • Capturing professional images and videos
  • Creating, organizing and maintaining a library or database of photos, videos, art designs, products etc.
  • Reviewing concepts, designs, layouts and providing art direction in compliance to MRA brand standards and project objective
  • Responding to all online enquiries
  • Monitoring website and social media through proactive audits and tests to ensure compliance to good practice and trends
  • Producing regular reports on the effective performance of digital communications and social media programmes using key metrics

Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicants should have the following qualifications and experience:
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Graphic designing/Visual Communications, Public Relations or Marketing from a reputable and recognized university
  • A minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in a similar role
  • A professional qualification in web and digital designing will be an added advantage

  • Proven knowledge and skills in graphic designing
  • Adequate knowledge in digital content management and brand management
  • Strong marketing skills
  • Ability to manage internal and external relationships
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in teams and quickly adapt to changing situations
