Good Neighbors International-Malawi (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development organization in General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC) with its headquarters in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Good Neighbors Malawi currently implements various community development projects within the following sectors, Health, Education, Water and Sanitation, Agriculture and Social Welfare ‘advocacy for children’s rights’, and other livelihood projects.

Role Description

The digital learning coordinator will be responsible for training and supporting teachers, education
management and community members to respond to the digital learning needs and unravel the talent
of the children. The ideal candidate should have excellent teacher trainer skills, experience with education management, the ability to support teachers and learners in the use of technology and is passionate about improving children’s learning through digital Learning.

 

 

Experience

  • Experience in developing and/or coordinating Digital learning content, preferably to support Digital Learning opportunities
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines under direction, whilst retaining the ability to exercise initiative where appropriate
  • Proactive and service/improvement-oriented approach
  • Proven ability to work effectively in teams

Knowledge

Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of current approaches to online learning and
development (ideally in line with Ministry of Education standards) in depth understanding of ENUMA SCHOOL applicability

Skills:

  • Strong IT skills to be confident to work with Digital Learning development software and platforms
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – comfortable communicating at all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize a mixed workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
