Digital Banking Manager at First Capital Bank

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position tenable at Head Office.

Reporting to the Head of Products, Payments and Digital Solutions the successful candidate will be responsible for mobile and internet banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mobile banking strategies that align with the institution’s overall business objectives.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to mobile app and USSD usage, customer satisfaction, and nancial performance.
• Engage in marketing efforts to promote USSD and mobile apps, enhancing customer acquisition and retention.
• Prepare reports for senior management detailing the status, growth, and challenges of mobile app and USSD platforms.
• Manage the lifecycle of mobile banking products (USSD and mobile apps), from conception to market launch and ongoing updates.
• Collaborate with product development teams to introduce new features and improvements to internet banking, USSD, and mobile apps.
• Oversee the security of internet banking, USSD, and mobile apps, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Implement policies and controls to mitigate risks associated with internet banking, USSD, and mobile apps.
• Manage relationships with business partners and external technology providers or vendors.
• Lead, mentor, and manage teams responsible for internet banking, USSD, and mobile apps, as well as customer support and product development.
• Oversee daily operational tasks, including transaction processing, customer queries, and system maintenance

Technical Skills/Competencies

• Knowledge of relevant technology that drives the bank’s services
• Knowledge of digital financial service products
• Project and change management
• Computer literacy

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, masters preferred
• Certification in digital financial services
• 5 years working experience in this field at a managerial level in a bank.
• Experience with digital banking technical operations
