Unitrans Malawi Limited, a prominent employer in the sugar and agriculture sector wants to recruit suitably qualified persons of Malawian origin to fill the following vacancies which have fallen vacant at its Dwangwa Depot in Nkhota-kota.
1 x Diesel Motor Vehicle Mechanic
The Job
Diesel Mechanic
Responsible for:-
(i) the repairing and maintenance of all diesel machines, motor vehicles, pumps, generators at the company.
(ii) diagnosing, identifying and rectifying mechanical problems on vehicles and equipment.
(iii) planning work procedure.
(iv) Complying with safety and health procedures and regulations in place at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
- Grade 1 National Trade Certificate or its equivalent obtained from a registered higher learning technical institution.
- Applicants must have at least 5 years minimum experience in agricultural/farming equipment.
- Must be willing to work at odd hours or in shifts as workload may require.
