MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE

Post : Desktop Operator (Grade K)
Salary : Within the Grade K salary scale segment
Location : Department of Agricultural Extension Services
Qualifications:
Applicants should be in possession of a Diploma in Graphic Design obtained from accredited institutions
Duties:
- Producing draft print out of all publication for editorial checking purposes:
- Developing Artwork for all publications:
- Laying out and copy fitting publications using computerized Desktop publishing
facilities: - Scanning and photocopying documents as required:
- Signwriting and labelling pavilions during events of national importance:
- Initiating ordering of Graphic Arts Materials;
- Carrying out simple preventive maintenance on Graphic Arts Equipment: and
- Any other duties as may be assigned
Note:
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews
that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
