National Audit Office
National Audit Office is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawians for the following Non-Established posts (3 years Contract) existing at National Audit Office Headquarters.
Qualification:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance/Internal Audit/Business Administration
- Possession of Master in Accounting/Finance/ Internal Audit/Business Administration with a minimum of 7 years’ experience atsenior management level
Duties:
- An adviser to the Auditor General on how to manage the CVU in general
- Providing interface with clients and other stakeholders on verification matters
- Providing oversight on allmatters of recording, verification and reporting process for the arrears, workers’ compensation, pensions and gratuities.
- Ensuring adequate classification of the arrears, workers’ compensation and pension and gratuities for prioritization purposes.
- Ensuring that verification of arrears workers’ compensation and pension and gratuities is implemented in accordance with the guidelines.
- Providing accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports that present the true position for verified arrears, worker’s compensation and pension and gratuities for the entire Government of Malawi
- Attending to queries, complains and issued raised by the MDAs on Government stock of arrears, salary arrears, workers’ compensation as well as pensions and gratuities
- Driving the reform initiatives in the management of the entire section
- Monitoring and assessing performance of the two sections under his/her charge
