The Ministry of Health wishes to inform the general public that with support from UNICEF through
Lilongwe Technical College, intends to strengthen surge capacity to support response to public
health emergencies.

In view of the above, the Ministry is recruiting COVID-19 Vaccinators on temporal basis for a period of six (6) months as below:

Qualifications

Applicants should be holders of Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery or Clinical Medicine from recognized institutions. Must be registered with the regulatory bodies. Those with Diploma in Environmental Health shall also be considered.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Organize vaccination team with support from the HSAs supervisor;
  • Conduct social mobilization for COVID-19 vaccine;
  • Prepare vaccination site schedules and follow on them;
  • Vaccinate eligible clients;
  • Monitor adverse events following immunization with COVID-19 vaccination;
  • Prepare weekly vaccination reports and submit to DHSS and National EPI office;
  • Manage data compiled by the statistical clerk;
  • Maintain fuel records and ledgers for resources used during vaccination activities.

Candidates who are in possession of the above stipulated relevant qualifications obtained from
accredited/recognised training institutions are invited to attend the interviews at the nearest
venue. The candidates will be required to bring their original and photocopies of their academic
and professional certificates, National Identification Card, Pencils, Ball pens and Face Masks.

The Ministry will ensure that all Covid -19 preventive measures are followed.
