Corporate Communications Manager
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications the successful candidate will manage marketing and brand development principles across all channels of communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a corporate communications strategy for the First Capital Bank brand.
- Safeguard the Bank’s reputation, perceptions, and identity.
- Define and recommend corporate brand positioning.
- Manage all social media channels and the Bank’s website.
- Develop, write and edit corporate communication materials such as newsletters, blogs, press releases, regulatory notices and all marketing materials.
- Planning and implementation of customer facing functions and events.
- Develop and implement internal engagement strategies in support of key business initiatives.
- Planning and implementation of internal events.
- Media planning in support of corporate communication strategies.
- Ensure good stakeholder and media relations. • Organise and co-ordinate press conferences when required.
- Identify and recommend key CSR partners.
- Ensure all CSR initiatives are quantified and measured in terms of impact on the community.
- Develop an annual social media engagement strategy that will grow the bank’s online community. • Develop a monthly social media content calendar.
- Adopt group initiated social media campaigns.
Technical Skills/Competencies

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal relationship skills.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications.
- Digital marketing savvy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Business Communication or Business Administration.
- Practicing communications specialist ог marketer with at least 5 years of experience in a communications role. Must have a proven track record that clearly demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements of this role.
