MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY

Vac, 11/23
Post : Cooperative Auditor (Grade I)
Salary : Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location : Ministry of Industry

Qualifications:
Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration, Marketing, Agribusiness Management, Entrepreneurship or Cooperative Management obtained from accredited institution.

Duties:

  • Preparing audit programs;
  • Undertaking Financial Management and Social Audits for cooperatives;
  • Working in liaison with both internal and external auditors of cooperatives;
  • Undertaking audit follow-ups; Supervising private auditors;
  • Presenting audit reports at annual general meetings of cooperatives;
  • Compiles audit reports;
  • Undertaking cooperative inspections;
  • Conducting enquiries on issues pertaining to cooperatives; and
  • Performing any other duties as may be assigned

Note:
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews
that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
