EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR
CONTENT CREATORS
The Copyright Society of Malawi is an organization that was established under section 5 of the Copyright
Act of 2016. Its core function is to promote and to protect creativity. COSOMA is inviting Content Creators
to collaborate in raising public awareness about copyright protection and intellectual property rights in
Malawi. As part of its mandate to promote and safeguard the rights of creators, COSOMA seeks to engage
creative professionals to develop engaging and informative content that highlights the importance of
copyright and its benefits to the creative industry.
Who Can Apply?
COSOMA is looking for Content Creators in various fields, including:
- Social media influencers
- Bloggers and digital storytellers
- Graphic designers & illustrators
- Videographers & animators
- Musicians & spoken word artists
Scope of Work
Selected Content Creators will work with COSOMA to develop educational, engaging, and awareness-
driven content in various formats, including:
- Social media posts & infographics
- Short awareness videos & animations
- Podcasts & interviews
- Articles & blog posts
Method Of Application
Interested Content Creators should submit their brief profile (including all social media usernames,
referees) and a concept proposal outlining how they would creatively promote copyright awareness.
