Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the newly created position of:
COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSE
Mulanje Mission Hospital is looking to engage a dynamic and self-starting person to take up the position of Community Health Nurse with strong Christian and professional values.
Reporting to the PHC Coordinator, the Community Health Nurse will be responsible for:
- Conduct mobile clinics
- Assists in static clinics when required
- Assist in supervision of NRU & OCTC
- Follow ART/HBC/PLWA-clients and report on the follow ups to MCH in charge
- Facilitate planned training sessions for the PHC-department
- Produce weekly reports on activities carried out
- Take part in planning of PHC activities and make individual week plan.
Qualifications and personal attributes
- Diploma in Community Nursing obtained from a recognized training institution.
- Registered with Nurse & Midwife Council of Malawi
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in a busy setting
- Highly motivated team player.
