Vacancy for Commission Processing and Invoicing Associate
Job Overview:
Tiderise is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Commission Processing and Invoicing Associate to support accurate commission calculations and invoice preparation for real estate lease agreements. This role is essential to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely payments for our clients and their stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Collection:
- Access shared drives to locate deal folders and required documents (Lease Agreement, Commission Calculation Form, Invoice Template)
- Confirm all necessary files are present before initiating calculations.
- Commission Calculation:
- Enter data into Excel-based Commission Calculation Form using deal-specific rent terms and commission rates.
- Verify the accuracy of formulas and outputs against lease agreements.
- Save and name calculation files using specified naming conventions.
- Invoice Preparation:
- Create and number new commission invoices using company templates.
- Copy commission summary tables from Excel into the invoice as an image.
- Ensure invoice content aligns with deal specifics (tenant name, term, square footage, recipient, etc.).
- Document Merging and Finalization:
- Convert invoices to PDF and compile them with W-9 and banking/wiring instructions into a single invoice package.
- Use PDF editing tools to manage document merging and formatting.
- Submission and Filing:
- Save final invoice packages in appropriate shared drive locations.
- Submit completed invoices to designated parties, copying relevant stakeholders (Lead Advisor, Accounting).
- Archive finalized invoice bundles per protocol.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and confident using formulas and spreadsheets.
- Comfortable navigating shared drives (Google Drive) and organizing digital files.
- Experience working with PDF editing tools (Adobe Acrobat, Small PDF, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to follow standardized workflows with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience in administrative, accounting, or financial support roles.
- Familiarity with real estate, leasing, or commission-based billing is a plus.
- Experience with Slack or similar team communication tools.
- Comfortable following SOPs and contributing to quality assurance standards.
