The Malawi Adventist University would like to
recruit qualified and suitable persons to fill the following vacant positions tenable at Malamulo College of Health Sciences campus;

Position: Clinical Instructors (5 positions)
Reporting to: Head of Clinical Medicine Department

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. 1. Coordinating of theory and practical requirements for each level of students as stipulated in the curriculum
   2. Hands-on training including demonstration of various procedures and techniques to students
   3. Assessing and evaluating students’ performance during and at the end of departmental rotation in conjunction with the clinical staff
   4. Setting up and marking assignments as might be deemed necessary by the course in session at a given time in coordination with the responsible lecturer
   5. Re-enforcing discipline among the students by way of providing counselling, checking attendance among others
   6. Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or higher office

Requirements:

• • Diploma in Clinical Medicine or any other related qualification obtained from a recognized and accredited university and those with a higher qualification will have an added advantage.
  • Must be registered with Medical Council of Malawi.
  • A minimum of two (2) years teaching experience at a big healthy facility or an academic institution.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and with good communication skills
