National Water Resources Authority

The National Water Resources Authority (NWRA) is a statutory organization established by the Water Resources Act of 2013 with a specific function to regulate and manage water resources. Furthermore, the NWRA seeks to ensure the sustainable use of water resources and address the water resources planning, development and management challenges.

In its effort to sustainably manage water resources, the NWRA seeks to recruit energetic, highly motivated, focused and result-oriented individuals to form part of its NWRA members of staff. In this regard, NWRA invites applications from suitable qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacant position:

Purpose of the Job

To promote positive corporate image and implement two-way Communication processes between the NWRA and its stakeholders

Key Duties and responsibilities

  • Implementing Civic education programmes and procedures.
  • Coordinating complaints handling and resolutions
  • Receiving complaints and complements and channel them to the appropriate Directorates, Divisions and Units.
  • Advocating the use of appropriate complaint handling procedures.
  • Servicing Civic Education forum.
  • Act as NWRA’s liaison officer for stakeholder engagements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor,s Degree in Education, Arts, Development Communication and or Business Communication
  • At least four (a) years experience Ina similar position.

Additional Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent IT and social media skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Experience of establishing and maintaining office systems
  • Excellent word processing skills
  • Experience of working with senior managers
  • Pleasant and courteous personality
