POST: Chief Social Welfare and Child Officer
GRADE: F/M3
LOCATION: Karonga District Council
DUTIES
- Oversees the implementation of social welfare and child protection programs.
- Develops policies aimed at safeguarding children and vulnerable groups.
- Provides guidance and counseling services to at-risk individuals and families.
- Coordinates with community-based organizations to deliver welfare services.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants must be serving Principal Social Welfare Officers (Grade G/M4) with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience at that grade in the local Authorities.
