About the Role:

This is a pivotal leadership position designed for a visionary professional with deep expertise and a passion for driving innovation in the Life, Pension and Asset Management companies. The Chief Operations Officer will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, steering the company toward continued excellence and sustainable growth.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years in the Life Insurance or Pensions industry at proven senior managerial role.
• Qualifications: Must be a Chartered Insurer and possess suitable university level academic and professional qualifications relevant to the role.
• Asset Management Expertise: Proven experience in working with or leading an Asset Management company will be an added advantage
• Location-Specific Knowledge: Understanding of Malawi’s business landscape, regulatory framework, and market dynamics is crucial.

• Lead in formulation of Strategic Plans and drive the execution to achieve growth of the company.
• Drive innovation and excellence in service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, regulators, and clients.
• Build and Lead teams to achieve company objectives and foster a culture of collaboration and growth.
