Applications are invited from suitably qualified, candidates to fill the following positions at Joyce Banda Foundation High School in Blantyre.
1. Position: Mathematics Teacher (Mathematics major, minor chemistry or physics)
2. Position: Chemistry Teacher (Chemistry major, minor Biology)
The successful candidates will be answerable to the School Manager through the Head teacher and Head
of Science Department.
The teacher will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring preparation of schemes and records of work and lesson plans in their teaching subject
2. Ensuring that the subject matter is delivered within the allocated time.
3. Ensuring that students are given enough work to do
4. Preparing and setting both termly and occasional tests
5. Marking and recording the scores in the school report cards and scholastic record forms as per
deadlines
6. Being exemplary to students.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Science) or Diploma in Education (Science) preferably from Chancellor College, Nalikule Teachers College, Mzuzu Uiversity, Domasi College of Education and MUBAS
2. Must be computer literate
3. Must be self-starter.
