Chef
Role Summary
As a Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing and presenting innovative, high-quality dishes that align with The Oxtail’s objectives and delight our customers. You will ensure that meals are prepared in a hygienic, safe, and pleasant environment while adhering to the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-standard meals daily, ensuring consistency, flavor, and presentation.
- Adhere to Food Safety, Hygiene, and Health regulations throughout the food preparation process.
- Assist the Operations Assistant in maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with and provide support to other team members, fostering a strong, cohesive team environment.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- A Diploma or equivalent in Hotel Management, Catering, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years’ experience working in a professional kitchen.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for creativity and excellence in food preparation.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the food industry.
