Chef at Ndau Lodge

Ndau Lodge is in its second year of opening, and we are looking to expand our kitchen workforce. We wish to recruit an experienced, charismatic chef to help make our food at Ndau Lodge stand out from the crowd in Nkhata Bay and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities include assisting in menu planning, preparing high-quality dishes in a timely manner, training of junior staff and demonstrating your excellent communication skills, to provide the very best culinary experience for our guests. You should be familiar with all Health and Safety regulations within the kitchen.

If you have experience with trying new recipes, excellent food presentation, advanced cooking techniques and using traditional and non-traditional ingredients we will be interested in meeting you.

Ultimately, you’ll prepare and deliver a complete menu that exceeds the expectations of our visitors and guests.

If you think you are the chef that we are looking for, you need to hold a Diploma from a designated college or the equivalent experience; be a leader in the kitchen, passionate about creating excellent food for our guests, and have the confidence to greet guests and be a great team player.
