CHANNELS OFFICER
Job Purpose:
A member of Centenary Group
Reporting to the Channels Manager, the Channels Officer is responsible for operations of the Bank’s delivery channels, Point of Sale, internet banking, mobile banking, and agency banking.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Implement operational plans for digital channels.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Implement digital projects, such as feature enhancements, new project testing on digital channels, and ensuring that projects are completed on time.
- Drive digital channel performance, including market share in terms of volume, transactions, and NFI. Use data insights to identify areas for optimization and make recommendations for improving digital channel effectiveness.
- Work with technical support and the development team on digital technology implementation platforms and tools used by the business, including troubleshooting issues,
- Coordinate with IT for system maintenance or upgrades and ensuring compliance with security and data privacy regulations.
- With related support, troubleshoot for any issue arising during implementation.
- Work with the Customer Experience and marketing team on publication and maintenance of content across digital channels, ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, and user experience.
- Collaborate with customer experience teams to integrate digital channels into customer support operational plans.
- Deliver digital channel activities in alignment with Bank policies and procedures and regulatory requirements as well, and appropriate measures to mitigate risk-related risks are implemented.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 4 years’ experience in business support of delivery channels (both front office and back offices): Point of Sale, internet banking, mobile banking, and agency banking.
- Well experienced in engaging with cross-functional teams and successfully leading the sales pursuits.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build effective relationships with customers.
- Strong understanding of digital channels business and operations.
- Strong reporting skills.
