YATHU Savings & Credit Cooperative (Formerly ADMARC EMPLOYEES SACCO) is an affiliate of MUSCCO, a member owned financial Cooperative that aims at mobilising member savings and promoting the sustainable growth and development of the SACCO and its members through cost-effective inclusive programming.
The SACCO is looking for honest and dynamic persons to fill the position of a cashier which is tenable at its head office in Blantyre:
A Cashier’s primary role is to assist members with receiving and paying out of cash and cheques. He /she is also responsible for counting the contents of the register drawer at the end of each of each and maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Receiving the working cash for the day and counting it before the member services begins.
· Receiving deposits of cash and validating deposit slips.
· Processing cash withdrawals.
· Managing cash vault.
· Receiving Shares and loan repayments from members.
· To answer queries and to assist members with account related issues.
· Balancing of cash at the end of business every day.
· Banking.
· Timely submission of MRA Returns.

Required qualifications:
· ICAM Accounting Technician Diploma or its equivalent.
· Basic mathematics along with a strong numeric ability and computer skills.
