CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR INTERNSHIP
BACKGROUND
The National Registration Bureau (NRB) is a Government Department in the Ministry of Homeland Security, established under the National Registration Act (2010). The Department is mandated to implement, coordinate, manage and maintain the National Registration and Identification System (NRIS) in Malawi, and has the following deliverables; Birth Certificates, National Identification Cards for bonafide Malawians, Identity cards for foreigners, Certificates for Registration of Marriage and Death Certificates.
NRB is currently implementing National ID outreach registration mop-up campaign to provide registration services to all Malawians in their communities. In order to ensure efficiency in the mop up campaign, this department intends to recruit suitably qualified Malawians for internship positions tenable in all the districts for a period of four (4) months.
QUALIFICATIONS
> Malawian Citizen with National ID
> Minimum Diploma in ICT related field, Human Resource Management, Business Administration/Management/Studies, Marketing, Journalism, Accounting and Community Development.
> Those who worked with NRB before on the similar activity are encouraged to apply.
> Those with experience working in registration and data entry related activities will have an added advantage.
Method Of Application
Interested persons are therefore requested to submit their application letters, attaching copies of academic certificates, curriculum vitae and National IDs to the District Registration Office of their current residence, situated at District Commissioner’s offices.
