OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT AND CABINET

Post : Cabinet Services Officer (Grade I)
Salary : Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location : Office of the President and Cabinet
Qualifications:
Applicants should be in possession of any of the following fields: Bachelor of Public administration; Bachelor of Social Science; Bachelor or Business Administration or Bachelor or Arts (Humanities) obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties:
- Taking and drafting of Cabinet and cabinet Committee Meetings:
- Ensuring that Cabinet documents are circulated as directed
- Ensuring proper custody of Cabinet documents:
- Liaising with Ministries and other stakeholders on matters relating to Cabinet business and procedures;
- Receiving and processing submissions to Cabinet and Cabinet Committees;
- Facilitating the organization of cabinet committee Meetings: and
- Any other duties as delegated from time to time
Note:
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews
that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
