Job Description

This is a true generalist HR role where the successful candidate will be responsible for  leading the portfolios, using specialist knowledge, collaborating with senior stakeholders; advising the areas on crafting & execution of bespoke & pragmatic people solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields/Master’s degree preferred – with broad exposure across people team functions.
  • 8+ years relevant experience in HR or related field in a corporate environment.
  • Works independently but collaboratively in a collegial team environment within a fast-paced and dynamic company.
  • Strong business acumen skills and collaboration skills, across a variety of functions and levels in the organization.
  • Able to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure.

Method Of Application

Responsibilities

  • Leverage the organisation’s data driven workforce insights to inform workforce strategy development, enabling solutions which aid business and people growth.
  • Provide guidance on strategic people metrics per portfolio/s; highlight and connect areas of focus based on market and environmental trends.
  • Initiate and lead People and Culture workstreams, supporting key strategic outcomes in role of the chief people liaison for a Business Unit.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams regarding workforce planning within allocated portfolio/s, confirming compliance with budgetary requirements; contributing to accurate information on costs.
  • Adhere to and advise relevant stakeholders on the People & Culture  risk and governance framework to ensure that risks are appropriately mitigated in the portfolio/s.
  • Lead the implementation of organisational design and change management initiatives within the portfolio/s, in collaboration with key stakeholders, to support the successful implementation and acceptance thereof.
  • Customise people plans, catering for current and future needs, for execution within the portfolio/s by identifying the experiences employees value least and most and basing recommendations on these insights to achieve the People Promise.
  • Inform and drive business performance and enhance the People & Culture value proposition through collaboration with Digitisation, Insights and Operations, using critical workforce and business data, insights and analytics, market intelligence and industry trends.
