BUSINESS ENTERPRISE SERVICES DIRECTOR
AMG Globals’ Client (‘the Company’), a leading provider of telecommunication and related services, seeks to engage a Business Enterprise Services Director. The position is tenable in Blantyre, Malawi.
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Business Enterprise Services Director shall be responsible for the provision of strategic direction, leadership and general administrative oversight to the Enterprise Business Services Department, for leadership business services revenue, and subscriber growth in line with the Company’s business strategy.
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establishes a clear vision for the Enterprise Business Services Department (‘the Department’) from revenue to behaviour.
- Develops the Department’s Annual Business Plan in line with the Company’s business plan based on analysis and market research.
- Devolve the Department’s annual business growth plans into monthly, quarterly and weekly plans.
- Strategizes effective sales techniques for the Department’s revenue growth, and profitability.
- Identifies and builds strong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and clients for an insight into market trends and business growth.
- Provides synopsis on the management of the Enterprise Business Services’ customers, guides team members in developing technical and commercial service / product proposals, tender or offer for submission to potential clients.
- Oversees the management of contracts in line with SLA agreements and the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with the product development teams in the continued development and enhancements of new products and services.
- Ensures that the Customer Incentives Structure is aligned to KPls for churn, customer loyalty and that customer experience and retention initiatives are effective and efficient.
- Ensures that the Department’s projects are delivered with utmost speed.
- Monitors trade stock levels to ensure that the Company does not miss out on business opportunities.
- Controls the Department’s customer debts to acceptable levels.
- Researches latest developments in the market and ensures competitive advantage and positioning.
- Manages the Department, including structure updates, staff performance, leave, and learning and development of staff.
- Develops and monitors the Department’s budget.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related programme.
- A Masters Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Economics or any business related field.
- Experience in sales and marketing in telecommunications or similar industry.
- Knowledge in ICT, project management, account management, financial management and marketing.
- Excellent verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Innovative mindset and ability to resolve customer issues.
- Strong understanding of industry standards, business operations and regulatory requirements.
- Strong capability in building strategic, multilevel relationships, and stakeholders relations management.
