BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM LEADER

The positions are based in our Lilongwe and Blantyre Offices

MAIN DUTIES

  • Overseeing daily sales, client service and marketing operations.
  • Revenue growth achieving the strict agreed targets.
  • Training Sales and Marketing staff to improve their skills.
  • Creating and managing budgets.
  • Managing staff including recommendation for hiring & termination.
  • Evaluating performance and productivity.
  • Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Expand and retain client base and reduce client churn per KPIs.
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).

KEY ATTRIBUTES

  • Proven experience as a Sales and Marketing Manager or similar executive role.
  • Not less than ten years in the role and vast experience in people management.
  • Experience in planning and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Not less than 5 years experience in a similar position.
