Business Development, Agro-processing and Marketing Manager at Greenbelt Authority (GBA)

Purpose: To provide strategic leadership in business Development, agro-processing and marketing development



Main Duties

a) Developing, reviewing and monitoring marketing and business development policies, plans, strategies, systems and practices.

b) Exploring and identifying new business undertakings

c) Facilitating agro-processing and post-harvest management

d) Developing market information system

e) Developing farmers marketing skills.

f) Facilitating cross border trade

g) Developing and upgrading various commodity value chains

h) Compiling and submitting periodic reports

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Development or Business Administration plus Four (4) years’ experience in Marketing and business management.

Person Specification

1. self-control with high moral standards and high level of personal integrity
2. Strong analytical skills and forward looking;
3. Effective negotiation skills;
4. Excellent communication both orally and written
5. Mastery of modern marketing and business practices.
