MHC-Henan Guoji Development Co. Ltd is a joint venture between Malawi Housing Corporation and Henan Guoji Development Company Limited from China. The company is currently selling and managing residential town houses in Lilongwe Area 49 Sector 5.
The project is called Guoji Dream Town.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant posts;
Bricklayer ( 2 positions )
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and interpreting building plans.
- Determining the materials required.
- Laying bricks using mortar as a binder and trowel to level.
- Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement.
- Working safely on scaffolds and swing stages at various heights.
- Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks.
Job Requirements
- No criminal record.
- Knowledge of materials, methods and tolls involved in bricklaying and construction of buildings.
- Having certain coordination abilities, led construction teams of more than ten people.
- Having the ability to execute and sense of responsibility, not resisting the tasks assigned by superiors.
- Physically fit.
The interested individual should have;
- Possess a local engineering college diploma (specializing in bricklaying foreman
training). - A minimum of three years industry experience on a construction site.
- Those who have previously worked for a Chinese company have an added advantage.
