JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Betting Manager to oversee and manage our betting operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of different betting platforms, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage risk and monitor odds effectively. This role requires someone who can work independently while also demonstrating excellent leadership and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operations of all betting activities, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Manage risk and monitor odds to maximize profitability while minimizing losses.
- Analyze betting trends, market movements, and customer behavior to inform decision-making.
- Maintain and update betting platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Generate reports on betting performance, customer trends, and risk analysis.
- Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and other departments to optimize user experience.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international gambling laws and regulations.
- Provide leadership and training to junior staff and betting operators.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong knowledge of risk management and odds monitoring techniques.
- Familiarity with various betting platforms and technologies.
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills to drive decision-making.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in betting operations or a related industry.
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of betting regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with a Betting company will have an added advantage.
