MET INVESTMENT is on the lookout for an energetic, friendly, and experienced Bartender to join our team!

Position: Bartender
Location: White Elephant Bar (Lilongwe,Likuni)
Type: Full-Time

About Us:
At White Elephant Bar, we specialize in delivering a memorable experience through expertly crafted drinks and an inviting atmosphere. Whether it’s a classic cocktail, a signature creation, or a refreshing beer, our focus is on quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Interact with customers, providing recommendations and delivering excellent customer service
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning glassware and restocking supplies
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
  • Ensure compliance with all alcohol laws and regulations
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and friendly manner
  • Keep track of inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive and energetic bar atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktails, and mixology techniques
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the local jurisdiction
