Our Client, VIVO ENERGY Malawi, a leading retailer of petroleum and related products. seeks to recruit suitably qualified persons to fill the positions of TREASURY AND CREDIT CONTROLLER, and B2C LUBES MANAGER.
B2C LUBES MANAGER (REF ‘CO 2024/03/16″)
JOB PURPOSE:
The B2C LUBES Manager will be accountable for VIVO Energy’s Lubricants business’ performance and profitability: day-to-day management of Lubricants operations; defending sales / developing sales; and meeting sales and financial targets and other KPIs as agreed with the Commercial Manager.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The position’s key principal accountabilities, include the following:
- Achieve targets on sales volumes, commercial contribution. integrated contribution, direct costs and working capital in line with set profitability and performance budgets.
- Strengthen and grow the Shell brand equity in the Country, and ensure that Shell products continue to be the preferred choice in the market.
- Grow market share by supporting the design and implementation of suitable sales and marketing strategies, and contribute to the development and implementation of channel management and marketing strategies.
- Cultivate and leverage opportunities for growth within existing network of Retailers, Customers, Distributors and Trade Partners.
- Improve competence levels across the organization and sales effectiveness of the sales force.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND APTITUDES:
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or other relevant qualification. Master’s Degree holders in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of Sales experience in either an office or field based sales environment.
COMPETENCIES:
- Strong experience in sales negotiation and closing deals.
- Strong negotiations skills, strong people and management skills, ability to manage and lead change, and ability to coach and train others.
