A reputable audit firm providing audit , tax and advisory services has an opening for audit senior positions
Role & Responsibilities

Plan, develop strategies and supervise fieldwork team in all phases of an audit engagement
-
Prepare financial statements and required disclosures in compliance with policy and regulations
-
Complete big files with minimal supervision i.e., drafting financial statements, management letters and letter of representations.
-
Carry out the audit of all complex balance sheet items, without supervision
-
Provide linkage between audit, and clients’ staff ensuring proper progress of work.
-
Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the overall audit plan and the audit programme.

Review work of other audit staff assigned to the work to ensure of high quality and provide on the job training where necessary.

Ensure that all work is done within the budgeted time.

Desired profile
-
Should be qualified or studying towards ACCA final stage
-
Should have a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from a reputable University.
-
3years minimum work experience in a similar role.
-
Able to organise, priotise work and utilize time well.
-
Able to adjust to change with a minimum of disruption to productivity. Ability to contribute useful ideas for improved performance of the position.

Able to handle clients courteously, with speed and efficiency.
-
Committed to achieving high technical standards and keeping up to date.
