Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)
The Anti-Corruption Bureau was established by an Act of Parliament to receive and investigate complaints of alleged or suspected corrupt practices; to prosecute offences under the Corrupt Practices Act; to investigate and report on the conduct of any public officer which is connected or conducive to corrupt practices; to take necessary measures for the prevention of corruption in public and private bodies and to solicit public support in the fight against corruption. ACB is in the process of recruiting a suitable person to fill vacant post as detailed below:
Job Title : Assistant Report Centre Officer (1)
Grade: Grade 9/K
Division: Investigations
Location: Blantyre
Purpose of the Job
To manage the receipt and processing of all complaints/reports received by the Bureau.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Receiving complaints.
- Act as a secretary of the Complaints Review Committee (CRC).
- Organizing Complaints into Complaints Management System
- Giving advice to complainants.
- Conducting Preliminary Investigations into complaints, reports or other information of alleged or suspected corrupt practices or offences
- Inputting complaints data into Complaints Management System.
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- Diploma in Business Administration, Education or Journalism from a well-recognized Institution.
- Two years working experience.
