Post : Assistant Land Surveyor (Grade K)
Salary : Within the Grade K salary scale segment
Location : Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development
Qualifications
Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Land Administration obtained from a recognized institution.
Duties:
- Planning preliminary surveys for Agricultural land in his area of work of Region;
- Carrying-out preliminary plot survey demarcation in Trading Areas with reference to Physical Planning lay-out;
- Allocating duties and supervising Survey Assistants;
- Checking of sketch-plans and computation of acreage to ensure that they are correct;
- Settling of land disputes by identification of correct boundaries;
- Ordering of survey equipment and maintaining them; and
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned.
Note:
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews
that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
