MINISTRY OF INFORMATION

Post : Assistant Information Officer (Grade K)
Salary : Within the Grade K salary scale segment
Location : Ministry of Information
Qualifications:
Applicants must be serving officers at (Grade M) with a minimum experience of four years at that grade and Non Serving applicants in possession of Diploma in Journalism from accredited institution.
Duties:
- Conducting interviews from stakeholders;
- News gathering;
- Reporting information;
- Writing feature articles;
- Identifying articles to be covered;
- Compiling stories; and
- Performing any other duties
Note:
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews
that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
