JOB TITLE: Assistant Head Chef
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. To ensure that food quality and presentation is in line with Crossroads Hotels’ standards.
2. To ensure maximization of gross profits by correct menu planning and costing.
3. To act as Head of Department in the absence of the Head Chef.
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum qualification of a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Food Production or Culinary Arts from
reputable institutions; those with a first degree in the relevant field will have an added advantage.
2. Hands on experience in a busy hospitality establishment with a minimum of two years at
managerial level.
