Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about numbers? We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. As an Assistant Accountant, you will support our accounting department in various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.


  • General Accounting: bank reconciliations, assist in maintaining financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, control accounts reconciliations and general ledger entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and schedules to support management decision-making and regulatory compliance.
  • Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursement requests in a timely manner. Resolve discrepancies and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing documentation, explanations, and support as required. Ensure compliance with audit requirements and internal controls.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities, including sales tax, VAT, and income tax filings. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3 years experience in accounting or finance roles preferred in a busy organization.
  • Proficiency in Sage Software Package and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
