Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Partnership Officer to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team leadership, sales strategy, customer relationship management, and operational management. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new sales opportunities and fostering a positive team environment to achieve our business objectives.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Sales Agents.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Set individual sales targets and provide guidance to achieve them.
  • Foster a positive and competitive team environment.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Create and manage sales plans and budgets.
  • Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Use data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the sales team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Manage resources efficiently to maximize productivity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams.
  • Provide insights from the field to support product development and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or related field.
  • 4 – 6 years of proven track record of successfully achieving sales targets and managing a sales territory or team
  • In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy sector
  • Strong leadership and management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A customer-centric mindset and the ability to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieve sales targets with excellent strategic thinking skills
  • Obsessed with time management, prioritization of tasks, and the ability to manage and track multiple streams of work and report on the progress
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the excellent ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Able to demonstrate integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all aspects of their work.
  • Must have experience in:
  1. Working with fast-paced early-stage organizations.
  2. Clear expertise in MS Office: Excel, Word & PPT.
