INTRODUCTION
Action for Sustainable Development (ASUD) is a Malawian non-profit nongovernmental organization working in the areas of agriculture, aquaculture, nutrition, environment, education and HIV/AIDS aiming at improving food, income and nutrition security of low-income families in Malawi. We are looking for innovative and qualified individuals to cover the following position: –
AQUACULTURE AND FISHERIES PROJECT OFFICER
Applicants Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in fisheries from recognised institution
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in the field of fisheries and aquaculture
- Innovative and excellent in community mobilisation
- Highly experienced in planning and writing progress reports
- Willing to work with rural communities
- Fluent Tumbuka or Chewa speaker
- Aged between 25 and 35 years old
- Must have valid motorcycle riding licence
Duties and responsibilities
- Community mobilization
- Training and coaching aquaculture farmers
- Work planning and timely production of progress reports
- Organise meetings and workshops
- Networking with relevant stakeholders
Those with valid motorcycle licence will have added advantage
