Role: STA – Host based

 

AGRONOMY FINANCE & TREASURY MANAGER – SHORT TERM ASSIGNMENT

 

Purpose

The position is responsible for designing, driving the formulation and effective implementation of an end to end grower financing model and managing the company’s risk exposure to minimal acceptable levels, executing all credit risk management and operational analysis, banking relations maintenance, company treasury risk management and departmental reporting.

 

What you will do – Key Responsibilities

 

Grower Financing: Develop, manage and implement the grower financing model.

Treasury: Provide and manage effective treasury support solutions to the business.

Budget and Investment Controls: Review and monitor departmental budgets, analyze departmental financial reports and related KPI’s.

Systems: Maintain necessary system (SAP, Leaf Point) and financial controls to achieve compliance.

Compliance: Co-ordinate and supervise internal control activities (Baseline Controls) within the entity.

People Management: Recruit, motivate and guide the professional and career development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.

 

Who we are looking for – Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in Finance/Business Administration and professional qualification in Accounting/Finance is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Finance and Treasury in a Multinational company, preferably in a manufacturing or Agricultural environment.
  • SAP/LeafPoint experience is a plus. Good Product Costing knowledge is required as well as IFRS.
  • Excellent leadership, people development, coaching & mentoring skills.
