Reporting to the Senior Relationship Manager, the successful candidate will operationalize the delivery of the Agriculture business segment strategy and value propositions through the provision of a specialist support service focused on strategic growth, retention and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Draw up and implement business development plans.
- Marketing Agriculture business products.
- Grow new business
- Grow loans and advances
- Deposit mobilization
- Provide liaison role across other functions in the bank to ensure that service standards are met.
- Conduct Agriculture Business viability studies to support credit applications.
Technical Skills/Competencies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Portfolio Management and Deal Structuring.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Understanding of marketing methodologies.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in agriculture or Agricultural Economics
- At least 5 years working experience at managerial level in Agribusiness.
