to fill the following position:

JOB TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY (1 Position)

GRADE: D

SECTION: ADMINISTRATION

REPORTING TO: THE HEADTEACHER

WORK STATION: LILONGWE

Job Summary:

You will efficiently provide comprehensive information, clerical, and administrative services to assist the Head Teacher in executing processes and delivering service needs that support high-quality, services for LPCCS.

Roles and Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the office of the Head Teacher has adequate administrative resources.
  • Compile letters and general correspondence and ensure proper recording of the same.
  • Maintain the LPCC petty cash.
  • Set Inventory levels and managing control processes
  • Maintain stores ledgers.
  • Be the secretary for the Executive Management Team

Educational qualification and competences

The candidate must have:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration.
  • Malawi School Certificate of Education
  • At least three years’ experience in similar role with some familiarity of standard accounting practices.
  • Experience in using MS Office packages, in particular excel and word. Hands on with data entry into online database and forms
  • A Christian with good standing in his/her church Special and personal attributes

The candidate must be:

  • Excellent Organizational skills with great attention to details
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong customer service ethic and abilities.
  • Self-disciplined
  • Hardworking and committed to work
