Electrical Technician (2 Positions – Liwonde & Zalewa)
Main Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective Electro electronic maintenance services in assemblies, sub-assemblies, machines, equipment, and installations.
- Install and perform maintenance on electrical networks, substations, switching devices, electrical installations, and lighting.
- Install and perform maintenance of earthing and protection systems.
- Perform maneuvers in substations, switching devices and transmission networks.
- Operate auxiliary equipment such as: pruning machine, brush cutter, chainsaw, multifunctional, rail drill, grinder and the like.
- Accompany and supervise contracted services of installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings, patterns, and work instructions.
- Perform, maintain, and guide cleaning (manual weeding, chemical weeding and manual or mechanized brush cutting) conservation of shelters, facilities, and equipment.
- Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste generated during maintenance.
- Perform load and power test on equipment.
Qualification & Person Specification:

- University Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications and Automobile Mechanics)
- 2 years’ experience
- Excellent teamwork, communication Skills
- Willingness to face challenges and display adaptability, responsibility, and flexibility
