Position: Customer Service Consultant – Mchinji Branch
Reports to: Branch Manager
Purpose of the Position
The main responsibility for a customer consultant will be to manage enquiries desk, account opening, take customer instructions and provide solutions, filing of customer documents.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyzing customer identification requirements
- Opening of customer accounts in the system
- Filing of customer documents
- Analyzing customer service requirements and information about all services available.
- Addressing customer complaints and issues effectively.
- Handling all customer inquiries by phone or email and provide solutions.
- Establishing and maintaining a good relationship with customers
- Maintaining customer database for future reference.
- Staying current with the latest trends within the customer service industry.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum of Diploma or its equivalent
- Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
Experience
- Must have worked in a banking environment as a front line officer or bank teller or enquiries officer.
- Administrative, cash handling, sales or customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with lending or credit products
- Able to use new technologies such as excel, windows, and T24 system.
- Committed Christian
Skills and competencies required
- Must be self-starter; self-motivated, tech savvy and possess a pleasant personality.
- Must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations with customers.
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
